Josh grew up grinding on Arizona mats and never left. A 3× Arizona High School State Champion and Arizona State University wrestler, he brings elite-level technique and a competitor's mindset to every practice.
Brandon is one of Arizona's finest — a 3× High School State Champion who carried that same fire to Arizona State University. Known for his relentless work ethic, Brandon brings the intensity that separates good wrestlers from great ones.
Way Out West Wrestling was built by Arizona wrestlers, for Arizona wrestlers. Founded by two 3× High School State Champions who went on to compete at Arizona State University, WOW was born from a belief that the next generation of champions deserves world-class coaching right here at home.
This season we're making changes that allow every athlete — from beginners to nationally competitive wrestlers — to receive coaching that's appropriate for their experience level. Two dedicated programs. Two paths to greatness.
This is the West. We finish what we start.
Geared toward new and less experienced wrestlers. We focus on building a strong foundation — proper technique, confidence, and athleticism in a fun, safe environment designed to keep kids in the sport.
Designed for wrestlers who aspire to compete at a national level. More intense practices, higher level techniques, and regular drop-ins from elite wrestlers and coaches. This is where champions are made.
